Six to six of Are Snow White and Sleeping Beauty the same character?
It's not because I'm the big fans of fairy tales, but just recognized both from piece to piece collecting of my sweet niece -let me say 'binder'. She has been collecting a lot of drawing papers into her binder.
The most are Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. At first, from figuring out the outfit of them, are Snow White and Sleeping Beauty the same character? Or is Snow White Sleeping Beauty? Or inreverse. Let me remind you a second.
Snow White
Disney’s Snow White is based on the Grimms’ Snow White. In the earliest Grimm tale, the Queen was Snow White’s real mother. She wanted a beautiful daughter, but when her mirror tells her that Snow White is more beautiful than she is, she gets jealous and grows to hate her.
In the story there is most popular sayings ''Mirror, mirror upon the wall, Who is The fairest fair of all?''. Then she orders the huntsman to kill Snow White and bring her the girl’s lungs and liver (instead of her heart) so she can eat them. The huntsman lets Snow White go mostly because he thinks the wild animals will kill her anyway.
After several days of wandering around outside, Snow White finds the dwarfs’ cottage, leading up to a scene that’s remarkably like Goldilocks and the Three Bears. While Snow White is staying with the dwarfs, the Queen tries to kill her not just once, but three times. First by binding the laces on her bodice too tight, then by putting a poisoned comb into her hair, then finally the familiar apple. Each time the dwarfs tell Snow White not to talk to strangers because they could be the Queen in disguise, yet she does it anyway. But to be fair, she’s only seven years old.
The apple doesn’t have any curse that can be defeated by true love and kisses. It succeeds because it’s poisoned, and gets lodged in Snow White’s throat. The dwarfs previously saved the princess by unbinding her laces and taking the comb out of her hair, but they can’t see the piece of apple. They declare her dead. She’s so beautiful they can’t bear to bury her, so they put her in a glass coffin instead.
The tale states that Snow White lays in the coffin for a “long, long time.” Maybe some years pass and she gets older. While it is also specified in the later version that she doesn’t change, perhaps the Brothers Grimm just meant that her body doesn’t decay. I hope so, because otherwise she’s still seven when the creep-tastic prince comes along.
Disney was smart enough to have the prince and Snow White fall in love before tragedy strikes, but in the original, he first sees her when she is lying in her glass coffin. He becomes obsessed with her, and pleads with the dwarfs to give her to him, promising she’ll be his “dearest possession.” That somehow strikes a cord with them, and they agree to give her up.
Either way, she wakes up and marries the prince. The Queen is invited to the wedding, but when she comes, they put red-hot iron shoes on her feet, and she dances to death. As stupid as Disney’s ending is, with the Queen conveniently falling off a cliff, it was an improvement.
Sleeping Beauty
Disney’s Sleeping Beauty is closest to the Grimms’ Little Briar Rose. That story was based on Perrault’s The Sleeping Beauty. Briar Rose/ Aurora (sleeping Beauty) was cursed by an evil fairy simply because she was not invited to her christening. Invitations were sent to all the fairies to bless the princess except to one as it was presumed that she was dead.
The fairies began to give their gifts. "She shall be beautiful'', said the first. "She shal be wise''said the second. "She shall be kind,''said the third. Only one fairy was left to give the gift when suddenly the room went dark.
Angrily the evil fairy spitefully cursed her that she'll prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die on the day of her 16th birthday but the curse was too strong so One of the fairy's had tot turn it into a deep sleep and that she'll wake up with a kiss of true love from a charming prince.
Disney version (the fairies disguised themselves as mortals and raised Aurora for 16 years in a far away place to prefent her from any danger of Maleficent)

For saying about comparative of crossing different time, In Grimm's fairy tale, there are 7 fairies who bless the Princess Aurora, who is under another name in that story... just like the 7 dwarfs. I wonder if these are not two version of the same story changed between the two cultures. Again in part II of Grimm's fairy tale of Sleeping beauty, she is attacked by Prince Charming/Philip's mother who tries to eat her and her chuldren and the wicked queen dies by her own trap.
So, again there is the parallel of the wicked Stepmother who wishes the heroine's demise. Alright, better you will see that Both Disney movies are based on two different but similar Grimm's Brother stories. They both have very much alike plot lines. Both stories that have been told over the ages but from different places and brought together by the brothers Grimm.
As you can see, although these two stories are different, there are more similar than you think. Both of stories have similar plot lines. Clearly, these stories are similar and different in many ways. But all of them, I most like for it's artistry and musical soundtrack of both of them.

- snow white has a bob (hair cut) that is ''black as ebony'' while sleeping beauty has long ''of sunshine gold''.
- These girls have different colored hair and eyes. Snow white has brown eyes while sleeping beauty is a blue-eyed beauty Let me give you some points, then you decide for yourself.
Here are the obvious similarities:
- Both Snow White and Sleeping Beauty are princess
- Both are put into a deep sleep by witch
- The princess get cursed by a jealous person. In Snow White by the Queen (who was jealous of her beauty) and in Sleeping Beauty by a wicked witch (who was jealous that the fairy was not invited to celebrate the birth of Briar Rose).
- Both girls are cared for by little people. Let's see Snow White has seven dwarfs taking care of her and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) has her fairy godmothers. We all know that fairies are tiny.
- Both are awaken by prince
- Both girls were saved by a kiss from a prince
Some unobvious similarities are:
- Snow White had the dwarves and Sleeping Beauty had the fairy godmothers.
- Snow White had the wicked stepmother, Sleeping Beauty had an evil fairy/ witch
- Sleeping Beauty accidentally pricked her hand on somethig that was poison. Snow White ate a poisened apple.
- The Wicked Queen is Snow White's evil stepmother. Maleficent is a wicked fairy who is Disney's version of the evil fairy godmother.
- Both girls are named after colors/nature. Snow white is obviously white snow.. and an Aurora is a natural light in the sky.
- Both Snow White and Aurora spend a lot of time in a woodland cottage. Snow White finds the dwarfs' cottage after running away from the evil's queen huntman, and Aurora is taken to a woodland cottage by her fairy godmothers.
